The trailer for
Antoine Fuqua's new movie
Shooter is up. The
Mark Wahlberg star vehicle is about a former Army sniper who reluctantly comes back to the service after he was double-crossed out on a mission. Upon return, he is double-crossed again and framed for the murder of the President. On the run, the movie follows his attempt to find the real killer and clear his name. Judging from the trailer, it's the type of movie we have seen a million times before but at the same time it doesn't look terrible. It certainly starts off stylish enough but then conforms to the "cookie cutter" formula of building up into a frenzy of quick cuts at the end.
