Sin City 2 ready to go

Sin City 2 looks to finally be ready to go. The sequel to the 2005 smash hit movie was apparently delayed after Angelina Jolie had fallen pregnant because both Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez were so desperate for her to star. Sci-Fi Wire confirm that Miller and Rodriguez will again share directing duties, with a Spring start date planned. This is what Miller told the site... "The script is largely done, and now we're in that limbo zone where we're casting and making script adjustments as we go........I'm hoping we'll start in late spring. It gets pretty hot in Austin, so there might be a summer's interruption there, but both Robert and I really want to be shooting this thing as soon as possible." Back in December, Frank Miller confirmed that Angelina Jolie would be appearing in the movie but things have gone quiet since on it since then. Hopefully things haven't gone sour and she is still set to star in the movie, I can't think of anyone else who fits the Sin City world better than her. If they are casting then, we should hear some more news items along the way but until Sin City 2 comes a reality.... we have Rodriguez's Grindhouse to look forward too and of course next month Frank Miller's 300 comes to our screens! source - filmstalker, sci-fi wire
