18. TIE Fighters
Though Solo is largely divorced from a lot of the traditional Star Wars identifiers and iconography - especially as it pertains to the Empire, Sith and Jedi - we do get a brief burst of TIE Fighter action when Han and so. are leaving Kessel with their haul.
They don't show up for long and don't put up much of a fight, but it's still a thrill to hear that distinctive TIE roar, and observe the slightly modified design of the iconic aircraft.
They're also briefly visible near the start of the movie in the spaceport, with the propaganda ad for the Imperial Army featuring a few TIE Fighters in hologram form.
