Solo: A Star Wars Story - 52 Easter Eggs & References Explained

16. 12.5 Parsecs?

Solo A Star Wars Story Han Chewbacca
Lucasfilm

There's always been plenty of dispute about exactly how long (or rather, the distance) it took Han Solo to complete the Kessel Run: he originally claimed he did it in "less than 12 parsecs", while Rey was convinced it was 14, and in Solo, Lando doesn't seem to believe anyone could pull it off in under 20.

Immediately after the job's completed, though, Han gloats about completing the job in 12 parsecs, after which Chewbacca pipes up, prompting Han to retort, "It is if you round it down!"

The exact figure is ambiguous, can we assume from this that Han actually completed the Kessel Run in 12.5 parsecs, but played things a little liberal with the precise number?
