Spectre: 6 Stupid Plot Holes That Ruined The Movie

3. Madeleine "Loves" Bond After Just A Few Days - Huh?!

When something frustrates to the point that this moment did, one that is void of any kind of realism (and everyone who has seen Spectre can confirm this as arguably the film's biggest "WTF?" moment, which is really saying something), it's a fully-fledged plot hole. That's to say, after teaming up with Bond for what can only have been - at a push - three or four days, Madeleine Swann, a very independent, sensible and highly intelligence human being (and a doctor, no less), declares her outright love for Bond. As he's being tortured by Blofeld, she leans in close and tells him: "I love you." And it is the biggest false note of the entire movie, because... what? Not only have the pair, up 'til this point in the movie, lacked any real chemistry, but they simply haven't been in one another's company long enough for such a sentiment to make any sense. It's at this point you're expecting Madeleine to reveal herself to be a secret Spectre spy or something, but no... she means it. It's so nonsensical that it actually breaks the internal logic of the film.
