Spectre: 8 Big Clues Hidden In The New Teaser Trailer

5. A Minor Antagonist Is Revealed

As rumoured, the pre-credits sequence is to be set in Mexico, and is touted by long-term producer Michael G. Wilson as "the biggest sequence we've ever done". Not a lot of clues about this part of the movie were given in the trailer - perhaps because there's still a good few months of filming left to complete - but one key element was unearthed. The teaser sees Bond chasing a newly-revealed figure through a busy carnival or parade, complete with creepy skull-masked extras. 007's prey appears to be a bloodied man with a ponytail, a character unseen in any previously released footage. Whether he proves to be a crucial starting point for the rest of the plot (or merely the antagonist of a stand-alone pre-credits sequence) remains to be seen.
