Spectre Trailer Breakdown - Everything You Missed And Need To See

Q's Big Part To Play

Ben Whishaw as Q is inspired casting, a total opposite to Daniel Crag's Bond. In Spectre it looks like he's going to be both filling the traditional gadget man role and playing a bit more of a focal point in the story. First up, he's giving Bond his new wheels, the Aston Martin DB10 (more on that later). Notice also Rory Kinnear's Tanner standing around - what started as a minor appearance in Quantum Of Solace has evolved into him becoming a key part of the MI6 family.
But there's more to Q than just serving as a fancy car salesman. The end of his introduction sees Bond discretely approaching him about making him "disappear". The editing of the trailer could be misleading, but the suggestion is that, after the mistake in Mexico City, Bond's off to scope out Spectre in secret. Also note the chassis of a DB5 in the background.
Later on in the trailer, Q's role only gets more pronounced, probably because he's the only person who truly knows what James is up to. He's helping Bond (and another key character) uncover the truth behind the evil organisation, discovering just how linked to our hero they really are.
And, at the very end, he's seen in a different location in different clothes (which means a whopping three different key scenes for the once bit-part), looking worried as his computer goes into a System Shutdown. Please say he hasn't uploaded a terrorist's malware to the MI6 mainframe again.
