Spider-Man: 5 Things Marvel Will Miss From The Amazing Series

1. The Rhino Fight

Even for movie-goers who found no redeeming points in the cumulative first four hours of The Amazing Spider-Man, the teasing tidbit of a Rhino fight at the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 at least offered something to get excited by. The incredible last few shots, showing Spider-Man to be the witty, resilient and resourceful hero that fans have taken to their hearts for fifty years was a nifty little cliffhanger. But sadly, viewers will never now just how that fight would play out. There can be educated guesses, of course, and the likelihood his that Peter would have managed to overcome the hulking mechanical beast off screen, but how good would it have been to see that in action? They may have been few and far between, but the set pieces of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 were the best seen so far. Webb and Garfield's hero was quick, spry and even balletic at times in motion. This scene teased what was likely to be much more promise ahead of The Amazing Spider-Man 3, but now viewers will never get to see one of the most exciting Spider-Man fights so far. There's always hope Marvel won't be too stubborn to take a pinch of this and provide audiences with something just as exciting in 2017. Fingers crossed. What other parts of The Amazing Spider-Man will you miss (if any)? Share your thoughts on the reboot down in the comments.
