Spider-Man: Every Movie Villain Ranked Worst To Best

3. Vulture (Spider-Man: Homecoming)

You can thank Michael Keaton's chilling performance and Homecoming's killer final act twist for Adrian Toomes' inspired addition to the MCU, because without them there's a strong possibility he'd have simply been another generic baddie for Spider-Man to face.

After losing his business to Stark Enterprises and turning to crime to put money on the table, Toomes becomes Vulture and uses his hatred for Iron Man to feed his desire for revenge and keeping his family looked after.

A man of startling contradictions and impeccable intimidation, Vulture was pretty damn great to begin with, but became an all-timer when it's revealed he's the father of Parker's school crush Liz. It's a thrilling rug-pull, and one that allows Keaton to deliver a performance few have matched in a Spidey movie before or since.
