Spider-Man: Far From Home - Everything We Know So Far
5. An Important New High Schooler
While much of the cast is the same, there were a couple of key casting notices revealed back in March. One was for a new villain, which seems to be Mysterio (a bit more on that shortly), but the other was for an important new high schooler.
The casting call was apparently looking for someone in the 18-24 age bracket, with leading man qualities who can go head to head with Tom Holland. That sounds like a crucial role, assuming it's true, and doesn't leave too many possibilities.
It can't be Eddie Brock, since Venom is coming out later this year and stars Tom Hardy as the character (and he isn't passing for a high schooler), while the fact it's open to an actor of any ethnicity rules out Miles Morales.
The signs in that case, then, point to it being the introduction of Harry Osborn. Although the Osborns have featured in both other Spidey franchises, they're such key parts of the character that it's unlikely Marvel won't use them at some point, so Far From Home could introduce us to Harry.
