7. Donald Glover Is In It
He's probably not playing Miles Morales as he always wanted, but Donald Glover has been cast in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Though Zendaya's mystery role has now been blown wide open, Glover's remains a secret (which suggests something fairly big about him).
Perhaps he's the new J Jonah Jameson? Imagine the Internet meltdown at that.
The cast has swollen considerably in the past couple of months, and there's also the revelation that UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley is also joining the cast. He told The MMA Hour that he has been involved in filming for Marvel:
"I don’t know if I can even say this, but I’m working on a Marvel movie on Thursday in Atlanta."
He didn't specifically say which film he's working on, but since Thor: Ragnarok is the only other one in production (and that's in Australia), it's not hard to piece the evidence together.
