11. Will We See Vulture Again?

Sticking with the Toomes family, things are left similarly open as far as Adrian is concerned. Michael Keaton gave an intense, at times even chilling performance as Adrian Toomes/Vulture, even better out-of-mask then he was in it.

Come the end of the film he's been defeated by Spidey and put in prison, but that's not the end of his role. We see him have a run in with Michael Mando's Mac Gargan, at which point he refuses to give up the secret identity of Spider-Man.

There are a couple of ways of interpreting that. Does he keep his secret because he feels he owes Peter for saving his life, or perhaps to protect his daughter Liz from further heartache? Or might he want to get revenge on the teenage web-slinger himself?

If it's the former, then there wouldn't be much need for a return, except for a brief cameo. If it's the latter, though, then we may not be done with Vulture in the MCU yet. There's also the question of whether or not he'll continue to keep Peter's secret: he's done so now, but if a lot of pressure was applied, might he change his tune?
