Spider-Man: Homecoming - 45 Easter Eggs & References You Probably Missed

22. Miles Morales (And The Bat-Voice Gag)

Spider Man Miles Morales Peter Parker
Marvel Comics

When Peter interrogates Aaron - a sequence that includes a hilarious dig at Batman's voice-changing habits to intimidate enemies (Peter uses his suit to alter his voice to sound menacing but Aaron simply laughs it off) - he mentions his nephew and wanting him to grow up in a safer world.

In the comics, Aaron Davis' nephew is Miles Morales, otherwise known as the fan-favourite Ultimates version of Spider-Man who every fan has wanted in the MCU for years. At least we now know he exists.

As an added nod to Morales, Davis' registration number is UCS-M01 - referencing Ultimate Comics Spider-Man 01 - the debut comic of Morales.
