Spider-Man: Homecoming - Predicting The Plot In 8 Steps
6. Tony Tells Peter To Stay Away From Vulture
And, yes, Peter does not keep this information to himself. He views Tony as a father figure and a mentor, and since Peter is still a young kid, it makes sense that he'd go to someone as powerful as Tony for help.
He won't get the response he'd hoped for, however. Peter wants to take the fight to Vulture directly and he hopes Tony will help, but instead, Tony tells him to stay away, mentioning that there are "people who handle this sort of thing".
Tony's guilt over the creation of Ultron and all the devastation the Avengers have caused will, again, come into play here. He doesn't want to go after Vulture and kick some ass out of fear of causing another incident - but Peter, who's young and hungry for some action, doesn't feel the same way.
The scene will end with Peter feeling rather disgruntled toward Tony, and he'll later vent his frustration at Ned - a line in trailer one, "I'm sick of him treating me like a kid all the time!" shows this.
And all this restlessness will soon lead to a rather rash decision on Peter's part...
