There is one word that comes up more than almost any other in the numerous Homecoming reviews: "Fun".

It's quite interesting that a lot of reviews do highlight some flaws big and small with the movie, and yet most of them remain overwhelmingly positive, for the simple reason that the film is such a good time.

ScreenCrush writes: "It’s pure, concentrated Spidey, and a lot of fun." Den of Geek state: "It's also really good fun, and a blast to watch at its best." Rolling Stone say: "It's no accident that Homecoming is the most fun when it's flying by the seat of its pants." Film School Rejects, meanwhile, call it in their review: "The most purely entertaining Marvel movie yet."

In short, it may not be perfect, but it's going to be great to watch.
