5. The Ant-Man Gag

Early on in the trailer, after he's rumbled Peter for secretly being Spider-Man, Ned Leeds asks him if he can command an army of spiders. It's a goofy question, but it's not entirely illogical, since Ant-Man is called Ant-Man and can command an army of ants.

It's a specific gag that Spider-Man has played up to at least once in the comics...

And even more specifically, there was a Spider-Man who could communicate with insects and spiders - Kaine Parker, who went on to become the second Scarlet Spider. He was odd, but he was a bad-ass.
