12. Washington D.C.
Although this movie makes sure to ground itself in New York, and Queens in particular, it does also take Spidey out of the big apple. Although Peter Parker has ventured outside of New York on occasion, he does very much tend to stick to his hometown, so it's interesting to see a movie removing him from it for a period.
We get an establishing shot of the Washington Monument, and then an even better one of Spidey scaling it. It's not clear if he goes to Washington as Spider-Man, or if he's there with the school, but his main objective soon becomes clear.
