Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse - 10 Reasons To Be Excited
9. Miles Morales On The Big-Screen
Since being introduced in Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man by Bendis and Pichelli, Miles Morales has fast become a fan-favourite character.
An Afro-Latino New Yorker, Miles is everything the OG wall-crawler was and more, making the jump from the Ultimate Universe in 2014 and subsequently owning every appearance in Marvel's main '616' continuity since.
Miles' appearance in a film of his own is massive, certainly because the character's comics debut only came six years ago, but also because he's the first Spidey to go there who isn't Peter Parker. That's huge, and while the film will reportedly feature other Spider-Men, by far its biggest draw lies in Miles, who'll be voiced by Shameik Moore when the full feature releases next December.
Of course, there's also a chance that Miles will appear in the MCU at some point, having been name-dropped by Donald Glover's Aaron Davis in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The two universes aren't meant to intersect, but if there were an indicator that Miles was destined for live-action, it would be a film like this.
