We'd already gotten a glimpse of these sequences in one of the few trailers for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, but there's no way we could omit them here.

Although the first Spider-Man of the film most definitely isn't the same wall-crawler from Sam Raimi's trilogy (Toby Maguire's casting wouldn't have made it so either, by the way), Spider-Verse does include several key throwbacks to those films. There's the infamous upside-down kiss in the rain from Spider-Man (2002); Spidey stopping the train in Spider-Man 2, and even - in the most hilarious callback of the lot - Spider-Man 3's jazzy dance sequence.

They're all equally brilliant, and though the film refrained from poking fun at those other Spider-Man films that've released, it was still great to see Raimi's trilogy get a nod.
