Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse New Trailer Reactions: 7 Ups & 1 Down
2. The Sheer Confidence Of It
Sometimes you see a trailer and question what the studio are doing. Sometimes it looks a bit muddled, or like they're not quite sure what they want it to be. It's something we've seen from different Spidey trailers too, including Venom, and it's a problem that absolutely does not exist here.
From the first moment to the last, this is pure wall-crawling, web-slinging, train-stopping confidence. After their experience on Solo, there was a risk of Lord and Miller going into their shells slightly, but instead they've come back even stronger than before.
This is the kind of trailer you put out when you've made The Lego Movie and Jump Street and can seemingly do no wrong. It's the kind of trailer you put out when you know exactly what your movie is and, more than that, know you've got a hit on your hands.
