6. Strange (Mostly) Sits Out The Final Battle

Name a more iconic duo than Doctor Strange and sitting out the final battle of a major MCU movie by having to do something stationary and boring instead.

After Strange returns from his half-day dangle over the Grand Canyon, he shows up at the Statue of Liberty just as the multiversal rift is about to tear open and allow a flood of figures from other universes to flood into this one.

While the Spider-Men battle their foes, it's Strange's job to hold the rift together and stop the other bad guys from coming in.

Clearly there's a pattern here, that the writers of these movies keep realising they have to find ways to keep Strange occupied because he's otherwise just too damn powerful.
