Spider-Man: No Way Home: 24 WTF Moments

4. Tobey Gets Stabbed

Without question the most heart-stopping moment in the movie occurs at the end of the Statue of Liberty battle, when the Goblin emerges back on the scene and Holland's Peter prepares to kill him with his own glider.

He's stopped by Maguire's Spidey, however, only for Goblin to then stab his Peter in the back.

While for a moment it seems like we might actually be witnessing the death of Maguire's Peter, it's thankfully a non-fatal wound, as he tells his fellow Peters, "I've been stabbed before."

For a second, though, they really had us going there. Killing one of the three Spideys would've been a hugely cheap way to wring some easy emotion out of the story, so it was actually a welcome relief that it didn't happen.
