Spider-Man: No Way Home's Spoiler NO ONE Is Talking About

Pure Speculation After THAT Ending

It's worth taking a beat to sit back and assess precisely where the Spider-Man "brand" and timeline is, at the close of No Way Home.

Namely, we've got a Peter Parker who's been wiped from the minds of everyone on the planet (including all the Avengers and particularly Tony Stark), an Aunt May slain at the hands of Willem Dafoe's Goblin, a new symbiote crawling around New York, an active Daredevil/Matt Murdock combo and a returning Kingpin, as of Hawkeye's fifth episode.

Oh, and Peter just crafted the classic 616 Spider-Man suit using a sewing machine, as he bounds off to be the most dedicated Spider-Man he can be. Literally it's Iron Man Jr. no more, as all the gadget-fuelled stuff that divided fans is done.

All of this - and it's ludicrous to say after three films - sets us up for the most back to basics, traditional, alone-against-the-world Spider-Man story we've had yet. We know Marvel have confirmed at least three more Spider-Man movies, and the possibilities are both endless, and heavily feeling like they'll take from some of the best arcs in comic book history.

Spidey and Daredevil teaming up and living together? Kingpin vs Spider-Man? The classic "symbiote infects Peter Parker" setup that Sam Raimi's movie infamously botched, with a faithful Venom and MCU Eddie Brock?

All of this and more is back on the table, with Charlie Cox's Daredevil in particular more than capable of taking these ideas and running with them.

For now though, just be thankful Marvel have reclaimed two of the best characters from their grand Netflix experiment, and this is only the beginning.
