Spider-Man vs. Morlun & final Spidey trailer!!

morlun.jpgUpdated: the final trailer for Spider-Man 3 is online in HD, which you can see by clicking here. It's by far the longest trailer so far.... and it looks AWESOME! I seriously would pay serious money to see this thing right now!Spider-Man 3 is just around the corner, but for the first time in the history of this movie franchise..... the future seems uncertain. We have no idea which cast members will be returning or even if director Sam Raimi will be back. Everyone had a three movie deal, so it's all pretty much up in the air. You can guarantee there will be a fourth movie. Spider-Man 3 will make far too much money for there not to be. But who will the villain be? Cinema Blend have got the scoop from their reliable insider that the villain for the fourth movie will be the vampire Morlun, who feeds off humans but aims for super humans (like Spidey) to fully satisfy his hunger. The character first appeared in 2001. This is very curious because Raimi has made it pretty clear that he wants to stick as close as possible to Stan Lee's original 60's run with Spider-Man with the use of his original villains Green Goblin, Doc Ock and The Sandman. Well that was until he used Venom of course, who wasn't created until the 80's. Not only that, but the character is a huge departure from the more down to earth and realistically portrayed villains. Morlun is centuries old and would be impossible to use in a human like way. But of course Sam Raimi may not return for Spider-Man 4. This is how I see things (SPOILERS AHEAD)..... If Spider-Man 4 is directed by Sam Raimi, then I'm pretty much sure he will use the story of Dr. Curt Connors as he turns into the classic villain The Lizard and maybe another villain if he see's it necessary. Maybe Bruce Campbell as Mysterio or maybe Kraven the Hunter will be involved. I'm sure it will be the classic villains. If Spider-Man 4 is NOT directed by Sam Raimi, then I wouldn't rule anything out..... although I think the use of Morlun is a stretch. For now though, who cares who the villain in Spider-Man 4 will be? Let's just sit back and look forward to seeing Rami's awesome version of Spider-Man for possibly the last time. source - cinema blend
