1. He's The "Best Spider-Man Yet"

The best news Spider-Man fans could possibly have hoped for coming out of Captain America: Civil War has seen Holland's Peter Parker (and his Spider-Man) crowned the best ever. That might not be a major achievement in context of Andrew Garfield's under-loved time in the suit, but when you consider how loved Tobey Maguire was, the implications are huge.

Ignoring the inevitable DC fanboy accusations that Marvel are paying for positive reviews (yeah, sure, because they need that), the general reception of Marvel's new Spider-Man has been almost universally positive. The effects are said to be spectacular, he has the right attitude and crucially, Civil War leaves viewers wanting more.

Let's hope those positive beginnings see Spider-Man: Homecoming propelled towards the stratospheric box office take and critical reception that tends to meet the MCU's biggest and best releases.
