It looks like the Dominion turn their attention from the Enterprise to Starfleet. Those grey and red uniforms look suspiciously like Starfleet under-graduates holding books. This certainly looks like it could be a future version of Earth.

So what's the attackers' motivation? Does the Beyond refer to space travel boundaries that haven't been established yet? Does the ongoing mission to seek out new worlds and new civilizations gain its limit by the accidental infiltration of hostile space?
