So now apparently Kirk can just jump through the air and still be locked onto by a teleporter? And holding hands with another person doesn't lead to some kind of awful Fly situation where Kirk ends up with her legs or they both get turned inside out. It was always a temperamental technology and this flagrant disregard for the rules just looks like more of John Harrison being able to teleport across the entire galaxy from planet to planet.

It's a nice set-piece, but it feels way too much like a ridiculous Fast & Furious sequence. There's literally been one of these jumping to each other hands impossibly in a Fast & Furious movie.
