Star Trek Into Darkness Spoilers Video: Classic Star Trek References

The previous Star Trek film swatted away the complaints of fanboys by establishing an alternate timeline in which new Spock (Zachary Quinto) could interact with old Spock (Leonard Nimoy), and this is taken full advantage of in Star Trek Into Darkness. A late-film plot development causes Spock to consult his older self on how to deal with Khan, making for a climactic reference to the original Star Trek movie sequel that is well-intentioned, though sort of misses the mark.
