Star Trek Into Darkness Super Bowl Trailer: Better At Everything

Into Darknes Iron Man 3 might be probably the biggest film of tonight's Super Bowl schedule, in terms of financial pulling power and star power at the very least, but personally speaking it is the return of Captain Kirk and the Enterprise to the big screen that goes down as the most exciting prospect of the two this year. The presence of the excellent Benedict Cumberbatch drove the first trailer, and opened up a lot of questions regarding his real heritage as a character - are we really seeing Khan, or someone linked to him? It was an irresistible prospect, and now tonight's Super Bowl Spot has kicked the excitement up another notch. And luckily for fans, we didn't have to wait for the official Super Bowl airing slot to watch, as the trailer was released early online. Here's the full trailer... http://youtu.be/9Mu07BaOx9c What can I say? Amazing. May can't come soon enough. And the impact can be summed up in just one exchange between Kirk and his new nemesis. "I am better." "At what?" "At everything." Incidentally, the trailer comes with its own app that promises more videos, images and the chance to win a trip to the film's premiere. The app is the first of its kind, and includes the following features, which can all be used to watch and rewatch the excellent trailer, and enhance the experience: A geofencing function for location-based experiences such as encouraging viewers to go to the movies; An audio scan function that can be turned on to automatically recognize and reward users for watching €˜Star Trek Into Darkness€™ content on TV and other media; An image scan function that enables users to interact with images printed or viewable in the real world; New €˜Star Trek Into Darkness€™ content, such as videos, images and wallpapers delivered directly to users€™ mobile devices; Exclusive opportunities and special offers only available to app users.
