Star Wars: 10 Best Characters From Only One Movie

8-6. IG-88, Bossk & Dengar: The Empire Strikes Back

These three contemporaries of Boba Fett certainly made an impression when we all first saw them on the bridge of Darth Vader's super star destroyer in The Empire Strikes Back. The killer droid IG-88 has a distinctive terminator vibe to him; Bossk looks like a humanoid dinosaur that you wouldn't want to cross, and Dengar comes across as having survived numerous battles and won them all. You clearly wouldn't want to mess with this bunch. While Boba Fett was the one bounty hunter who tracked down the Falcon for Darth Vader, there was always a mystery to the identities of these three characters. While they have appeared - like Boba Fett - in spin off games and books, they remain at heart three mysterious but irresistible malignancies. Sometimes a one off appearance in a single scene is all you need to become an iconic character and that is clearly the case for the under-played IG-88, Bossk and Dengar. It's just a shame we didn't ever get to see more of their stories.
