Star Wars: 10 Expanded Universe Starships You Didn't Know Were Canon Again

9. Lady Luck

Every major character in Star wars gets their own ship: Han Solo has the Millennium Falcon; Luke has his X-wing; and while we never see it in the films, the EU graced Lando Calrissian with his own signature vessel – the Lady Luck.

Modified to be every bit as suave, canny and adaptable as its owner, this modified SoroSuub Personal Luxury Yacht 3000 is a deceptively capable combat vessel, with six concealed laser canons, custom uprated shielding, and speed second only to the Millennium Falcon. Even so it is still a luxury starship, complete with a plush interior, private suite, meditation pool, and a small crystal garden.

But it is the sensor suite that truly sets it apart. The system can detect, identify and scan approaching vessels at long range, building a threat profile accurate enough to rival Star Trek technology. And when scanned by customs officials, Lady Luck can produce no less than three false identities.

Fittingly for a man so often associated with Han Solo it is in the Solo: A Star Wars Story tie-in novel Last Shot that the Lady Luck makes its canon debut, once again serving as Lando’s personal transport during his New Republic-era storyline.

Marcellus Huisamen hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
