7. Tamuera Morrison as Boba Fett (The Empire Strikes Back)
In another attempt to smooth over continuity gaps, Tamuera Morrison's voice was substituted for Jason Wingreen's as Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back. Look, again, I get it Temeura Morrison played Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones, Boba Fett is his clone/son, so theoretically Boba should have Morrisons voice. Now why the Stormtroopers, who are
also clones of Jango, dont have his voice in the original trilogy is a question I cannot answer and probably shouldnt ask too loudly, lest Lucas here Unfortunately, it's a simple (and unfortunate) fact that Morrisons line deliveries throughout Empire are remarkably flat. Im not saying Jason Wingreen was freakin Laurence Olivier when he did the original voiceovers, but he sounded properly cold and menacing. Morrison sounds like they plucked him off the set of another movie for five minutes, had him record a mildly bored scratch track of Bobas lines, and then simply used that scratch track in the final mix.
