9. Like That, Will He Talk, For The Entire Film?
Funny vocal performances can be great in small doses, and Yodas unique dialect was undoubtedly another key component of his appeal in Empire and Jedi. But seriously, a whole film of object-subject-verb word order is going to get mightily annoying after five minutes, let alone the likely two hour running time. In the current Star Wars films no-one has picked him up on it, which implies its something common to his race/planet that you just don't mention. That leaves open the prospect of a whole world of this dialect, something that would get an Anakin/Vader "Nooooooooo" from most of us, surely? Unless, of course, the film is a searing King's Speech style drama about the trauma that caused him to speak that way in the first place? Only with lasers.
