Star Wars: 10 Spin-Off Movies That Need To Be Made

10. The Death Star Plans Stolen

Throughout the entirety of the Star Wars saga, The Rebel Alliance was clearly the main protagonist group. Standing up to the oppressive evil Galactic Empire, the rag tag group stood for democracy and freedom. Founded by rogue members of The Senate who opposed Emperor Palpatine's tyranical rule, the Rebellion continued to stick like a burr to the Empire's side, until, eventually, they ended the Imperial reign. However, the events that took place between Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope, are still somewhat vague and fans have not had a chance to see the Rebellion during it's formative years. A great many battles took place and yet so little known about them. For instance, it's known that the Rebels managed to steal the plans to the original Death Star, but the extremely frenetic and dangerous events are undramatised in the new continuity. Who were the brave souls charged to carry out such a seemingly impossible task? How could a group so small and seemingly helpless manage to infiltrate the all mighty Empire and steal the plans for their ultimate weapon without them catching on? During those early, dark years, the daunting task that stood before the Rebellion must have seemed insurmountable, but the realisation that the enemy now had plans to construct a space station capable of anihilating entire planets must have shaken them to their core. Not only were they dealing with having to set up and coordinate their own infrastructure, but they were also facing an enemy much more deadly. Precisely how the Alliance managed to hold it all together, protect themselves and manage to pull off one of the largest strikes against a vastly 'superior' foe simply has to be seen on film.

A self professed Stephen King/Star Wars geek and pop culture neophyte, Scott tends to spend much of his time alone pondering life's greatest mysteries.....he also depends heavily on his son Liam, a great sounding board, to set him straight on Star Wars issues and gives him advice on what EXACTLY he's doing wrong.
