Star Wars: 10 Spin-Off Movies That Need To Be Made
3. Palpatine The Aspiring Sith Lord
The Star Wars Databank describes him as "the supreme ruler of the most powerful tyrannical regime the galaxy had ever witnessed." He has also been described as "evil incarnate". Pretty heavy words and they fit the man to a T. Some elements are known about Palpatine. It's known that he had at least two apprentices before Anakin. It's known that he callously killed his own master in his sleep. It's known that his mastery of the dark side of the force was exceeded by no one. But what is unknown could fill a book. The man rose to the absolute pentultimate position in the entire galaxy and yet, aside from a few tidbits of information, next to nothing is known about him. And even what is known must be viewed with skepticism, since he was a master of duplicity. It would be enthralling to see Palpatine as a young man and the events that lead him down his shadowy and malevolent path. To go from a somewhat unassuming Senator to the Supreme Emperor is a grand feat in itself, but one has to believe that his master plan had been in the works for considerably longer than that. Hopefully the powers that be will take note of the goldmine of riches here and make what would be a truly captivating stand alone feature film on this tyrant.
A self professed Stephen King/Star Wars geek and pop culture neophyte, Scott tends to spend much of his time alone pondering life's greatest mysteries.....he also depends heavily on his son Liam, a great sounding board, to set him straight on Star Wars issues and gives him advice on what EXACTLY he's doing wrong.
