Star Wars: 10 Spin-Off Movies We'd Like To See

1. Obi-Wan: The Wilderness Years

And finally, one Star Wars spin-off that I'd give me right hand to see is an Obi-Wan Kenobi film set between Episode III and Episode IV. I don€™t believe for a second that Obi-Wan could spend all those years on Tatooine without getting into a few scrapes. Seeing as the good natured warrior Obi-Wan is effectively stranded on Tatooine - the perfect setting for a space western, and the home planet for galactic scum aplenty €“ it€™s easy to picture Anakin Skywalker€™s former master as a reluctant gunslinger type character in his new environment. Or even a wandering Ronin of sorts. Obi-Wan could become that archetypal hero character that rolls in to town and never talks about his past. He€™s the guy that tries not to get involved in local disputes, but can€™t bring himself to walk on by when he sees innocent people abused and harmed. He€™s Clint Eastwood. He€™s Mad Max. He€™s an excellent Star Wars spin-off movie waiting to happen. The official figurine pictured above that blends Ewan McGregor and Alec Guinness so perfectly only serves to make me more desperate for this film to exist. Surely McGregor could be tempted to come back once more if there was a chance to improve his lot in Star Wars lore after the prequels did him a disservice. He made a voice cameo in The Force Awakens, so it's certainly not something to rule this out. Which Star Wars spin-off film would you like to see happen? Let us know in the comments€
