1. The Original "Original Trilogy" On Blu-ray
Okay folks, the big one. The one thing all Star Wars fans would queue up outside Disneyland to get their mitts on if it so required it. The original "Original Trilogy" on remastered Blu-ray. The version we grew up with, the non-special edition editions; the originals that Lucas doesn't consider good enough anymore but we all still want them because its "our" Star Wars. Now, theres a lot of talk about there being no remastered or even original print available for this, or that Lucas would probably need to pass on in order for the rights to get released, or that the 20th Century Fox deal puts a stopper on any current Star Wars saga releases coming out under the Disney banner any time soon. Theres a lot to stop this dream from coming true, but that doesn't stop us dreaming. We all want it and if Disney really want to put some smiles on the Star Wars fans' faces, this is the one that will do it. We have a big hurdle ahead folks. One day we will have to watch a Star Wars film
without the 20th Century Fox fanfare. That day will be a bit crushing to the soul but if Disney want to earn their place at the opening of every Star Wars film, we need to feel as if they deserve to be there. That Disney logo needs to feel like its part of Star Wars enough to not feel out of place. Delivering the goods on some of the things I've listed would be a fine start for Disney and Lucasfilm, right? Of course, option B is for Disney to buy 20th Century Fox, just for that fanfare.
