When Obi-Wan Kenobi first uttered the words "Clone War" in the original Star Wars, fans have pondered the scope and magnitude of this event. Flash forward 25-years to the events of Attack of the Clones and fans would finally have their answer.

Not only would enthusiasts behold the events of this conflict, they would witness the introduction of a character in the form of Jango Fett. Not only would Jango be the "father" of the most legendary bounty hunter in cinematic history, he'd be the template for an entire Clone army; creating the namesake for the larger conflict.

Shaping The Franchise

Jango Fett's contribution to Star Wars lore is momentous. He represents the on-screen embodiment of the all things fans had wanted to see in Boba Fett. While Boba has an amazing cult following of his own, Jango fleshed out more thoroughly what it means to be the deadliest bounty hunter in the galaxy.

Like any great villain fortunate enough to exist in the prequel trilogy, Jango meets his end all too soon. Unlike the fate that befalls his son later in Return of the Jedi, Jango at least was able to put some of his battle skills to the test.

Add in the now classic encounter with Obi-Wan Kenobi on Kaminio, and the franchise has one of its more memorable action scenes.
