10. The Entire Prequel Trilogy
Lucas is often given the benefit of the doubt. The studios ruined the prequels. They made him do it that way. Only one problem. Lucas doesn't work with the studios, remember? And nothing sort of screams "unprepared" more than a guy who really didn't sit down to write the screenplay for Episode I, a story he had apparently been working the kinks out of for twenty years, until just months before the film's production. Everyone already knows what the results were, but the real problem with the prequels (borrowing a little from Harry Plinkett's review here) is that instead of focusing on telling a great story they seem to focus more on creating tons of pointless crap to be later turned into more merchandise.
