1. Lupita Nyong'o's Character Is The Most Mysterious
As with Max von Sydow, all fans know about Lupita Nyong'o's involvement in Episode VII is that she's... involved. Thankfully, "leaks" reveal more: that she's Luke's apprentice, adding detail to the claim that Luke has been training a very small number of Jedi while hiding from the galaxy. On a slightly less pleasant note, she is also rumoured to be Finn's love interest. It's worth noting that Lupita Nyong'o and John Boyega are the only two black actors in the principal cast, so if their characters do develop a romance, that plot line could unwittingly send the signal that in a galaxy far, far away only black people can hook up together... and that surely is not the message J. J. Abrams wants film-goers to leave with. On the other hand, this rumour stands no more chance of being true than any of the others.
