Star Wars 7: 10 Biggest Things Revealed From The Set Leaks

7. Darth Vader's Battered Helmet Will Be Seen

Also likely to make a return appearance is Darth Vader's helmet, since it's featured in several leaked concept art pictures. Maybe this burnt out helmet will be held by Andy Serkis as a skeletal, robed figure. The true nature of this skeletal figure is unknown; however, he could well be an alien Sith master or the chief inquisitor. Inquisitors are used by the Empire to hunt down and kill force users and feature in Star Wars: Rebels. Using inquisitors in Episode VII would seem a plausible crossover. In Disney-speak, there is ample scope for the synergistic cross-generation of maximal profits... or something. (Translation: it'll sell lots of toys.) However, inquisitors have not been seen in the movies before. To establish these characters in the Star Wars continuity, it is rumoured there will be a flashback scene featuring Darth Vader, showing him commanding the inquisitors. Andy Serkis is confirmed as the narrator of the trailer. Assuming this narration was done in character, Serkis's character seems to know a lot about what is going on. This extensive level of knowledge seems to indicate his character is at the very centre of things. Serkis says only that his character has been through "some stuff", referring to the space battles that have raged since Return of the Jedi. More forthrightly, Serkis states that he is only playing a single character, quashing rumours of multiple roles.
