6. Max Rebo

Alright, so it's hard to offer any specific explanations for why we all need to have Max Rebo in the new movies, unless for some reason you think that having a blue elephant alien who plays the red ball organ is a bad idea, but he should be. (Which, by the way, you would be wrong about.) He's the namesake of the Max Rebo Band, and a talented musician who was forced to play at Jabba the Hutt's palace. But rumor has it that after Jabba and everyone died, Max set out on a solo career and performed in a number of tours where he would entertain groups of New Republic soldiers, which would make sense in terms of him showing up somewhere in the new movie. So basically, the stage is set for him to return to the Star Wars films, and we're going to be really disappointed if we don't at least get a glimpse of old Max.
