6. Luke Skywalkers Wedding - Disaster Averted
The comic in which Luke Skywalker marries Mara Jade is actually pretty funny. I remember it as full of assassination attempts, spa visits, and random lightsaber fights. Comedy in the EU is always easier to deal with than seriousness. And Mara Jade really was very badass. Anyway, the peril that all Star Wars everything have to have was, in this case, a disgruntled former imperial with a daring and dangerous plan. That happens ALL THE TIME in the EU: its a normal kind of dumb. What made it REALLY dumb was the resolution. Mr. Im going to destroy the entire Republic by knocking out all communications with a special computer virus (You dont realize how stupid this stuff is until you finish typing it) is talked out of it by Mr. Compassionate Jedi Skywalker. The bad guy just gets talked into liking peace. Then theres dancing and moonlight. Its the definition of stupid.
