Star Wars Boba Fett Spin-Off Film To Be Confirmed This Year?
Hot rumour stirring about the interwebs comes from the people over at AMC Movie Talk. While chatting about a number of film items, hosts John Campea and Jon Schnepp were taking questions when one arose about the upcoming Star Wars spin-off films. Schnepp chimed in that a "reliable source" has confirmed that there is in fact a Boba Fett spin-off movie on the horizon written by none other than famed screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Return of the Jedi). Although coming across very confidentially with this information, this is by no means a proven fact and has not been officially confirmed by Disney or any studio official at this time. The current plan is to do a sequel trilogy that takes place after Episode VI and spans Episodes VII - IX. In between these episodic films are two planned spin-offs that will have a primary focus on already established characters from the previous two tilogies . It has long been theorized that some possible front runners for these movies were to be Boba Fett, Emperor Palpatine, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda. What do you think? Is it a lock that Boba Fett will be the first spin-off movie? Follow me on Twitter! Want more Star Wars? Click "next" below...
