3. Mon Mothma
Mon Mothma has been shown as a key figure in the Rebel Alliance on numerous occasions, ranging from the Original Trilogy to different comics and books.
Similar to Bail Organa, it's hard to imagine the upcoming show without her. Genevieve O'Reilly did a great job of portraying Mon Mothma in Rogue One, staying true to the original incarnation played by Carol Blakiston. Seeing such a well-established character once more could definitely enrich the upcoming show.
Additionally, given how Mothma's character was usually portrayed as a true, righteous Rebel, perhaps we could see a clash between her and the Rebel Intelligence, which, seemingly, stopped at nothing to achieve its goal of destroying the Empire.
