3. Star Wars VII: Shadow Warrior

A long time ago, in galaxy far, far away... Peace! The new Galactic Republic is thriving and the few enemies that remain are being pursued by Commander Jaina Solo under orders from her father General Han Solo. Her brother Jacen is finishing his Jedi training under the apprenticeship of his uncle Luke Skywalker but the head of the new Jedi Order has been troubled with visions of pain and doom coming from the shadows. Feeling an imbalance in the force Luke seeks the counsel of an old friend... Plot: Luke seeks the counsel of Obi Wan (cue Ewan McGregor cameo) who tells him his visions show a warrior coming to kill him and everything he loves. Not based on any one expanded universe story per se this is more a set up to introduce one the best characters from the EU - Mara Jade - a special agent of the now deceased Palpatine who's on a mission to assassinate Luke. Her story is both compelling and tragic and she could be a great female addition to the Star Wars universe.
