Star Wars Episode 7: 5 Stories Disney Should Avoid For The New Films

4. Jawas Of Doom

Jawas Of Doom This comic sees Han short on cash having spent the majority of his recent time fighting the Empire with the Rebel Alliance. Realising that fighting tyranny has left little time for smuggling, and refusing the help of Leia, he decides to return to Tatooine to access his old bank account. Meanwhile Boba Fett has escaped from the Sarlacc pit he fell into during Return of the Jedi. Jawas, who have become increasingly aggressive since the demise of Jabba, pick up his unconscious body. Han later encounters the same Jawas after they kidnap R2-D2. Why it might not make a great film: The title of the story may have been a hint that this wasn€™t movie material. Jawas, regardless how many droids they steal, are never going to be great harbingers of doom. It€™s just not possible for these tiny scavengers to be taken seriously as the main villain in any story. On the other hand Boba Fett is a perfect bad guy. However he spends the majority of this story with amnesia, to such an extent that the Jawas believe he is actually a droid rather than a feared bounty hunter. When he does eventually remember his identity, he becomes trapped in a Sandcrawler as it meanders towards the Sarlacc pit for the second of many times. Even the heroes are not doing anything adventurous or noble. Han just needs to make some money because the Rebel Alliance is apparently a voluntary organisation and cannot reward its greatest generals.
