Star Wars Episode 9: 8 Predictions For The Sequel's Title

1. The New Order

Another idea that's been doing the rounds for a while is that of 'New Order', and it's one of the best optionsof Episode IX's title, whether it's A New Order, The New Order, or even something like A New Order Rises.

The Sequel Trilogy has had two movies starting with 'The', so for argument's sake let's keep it consistent (but there's no real difference with 'A New Order), while having Rises in a title feels a little overdone at this point.

What's so good about this title is just how it fits in so many ways. It connects directly to the First Order, so it links to the whole Sequel Trilogy, but it also builds upon the end of The Last Jedi, with the chance for a new order of Force users. That itself ties into the Jedi Order, looping in the entire Skywalker Saga and wider Star Wars canon too, but also fits with the notion of achieving balance and moving beyond Sith and Jedi. It's not a new Jedi Order, it is a new order entirely.
