6. Lando Is Back Too

Buckle up, baby, because the smoothest scoundrel in the galaxy in back in the game for Episode IX. After a month of rumours (and long before that, talk he'd be in Episode VIII), Billy Dee Williams is indeed reprising his role as Lando Calrissian, the first time he's done so in a movie since Return of the Jedi (although he has appeared in numerous TV shows and video games).

With Han and Luke both already dead, and this movie likely to explain Leia passed away between the Last Jedi and itself, the old guard is down to just Chewbacca. Furthermore, with the Resistance in need of all the help they can give, it's not much of a surprise to have Lando rejoining the fight.

Since he's likely taking on part of the role Leia would've played (probably without quite as much screentime, though), it does sadly mean there's a good chance he'll die, but it'll be nice to see him back nonetheless.
