13. Rey Vs Kylo

In one of the trailer's most stunning moments, we see Rey run along the desert, being chased by a spaceship, before vaulting into the air, arching backwards, and attacking it with the lightsaber.

It's an incredibly acrobatic display of power, which suggests that this movie is going to marry the fight choreography of the prequels with the emotional weight of the Original Trilogy.

And, of course, there's the pretty huge matter of who it is she’s up against here, since at first glance that looks like Kylo Ren's ship, the TIE Silencer, from The Last Jedi. It’s actually a new ship, looking like an updated TIE Interceptor, but the gloves make it mostly clear this is Kylo.

It makes sense that Rey and Kylo would go up against each other yet again, but there's also no real context for the scene in the trailer. Is this an attack? Could they actually be training together?! If the former, that leaves the pair facing off, in the desert, with no one else around, taking Star Wars back to its Western roots. There is a slim chance it’s not Kylo - the First Order are attacking the desert later in the trailer, and it’s a new ship - but that’s where the smart money is.

And above all else, it is a completely badass Rey moment.
